The Instagram giveaway picker draws random winners from the comments on one of your Instagram posts. It is a free, standalone tool at usereplier.com/tools/instagram-giveaway-picker. You do not need a Replier account, a paid plan, or a saved automation to use it, and using it does not use any of your channel connections or interaction allowance.

Connect an Instagram account

  • Without a Replier account: Select Connect Instagram and sign in through Meta. This grants a read-only connection that can view your posts and comments but cannot send messages or run automations, and it is not listed in Channels.
  • Signed in to Replier: Choose one of your workspace’s connected Instagram accounts, or connect a new one the same way.
The account must manage the post you want to draw from. Replier never asks for your Instagram password. This connection is separate from a Channels connection used for automations. If the same Instagram account is already fully connected in a different workspace, you cannot pick winners for it here until it is available. To also send comment-to-DM automations from this account, connect it from Channels; Replier will ask you to grant full permissions at that point. Connect channels.

Choose a post and draw winners

  1. Select a post from the picker. Use Refresh to load your most recent posts.
  2. Replier loads the post’s comments, up to 1,000. A notice appears if the post has more comments than that.
  3. Optionally add a keyword. Only comments containing it, ignoring capital letters, are eligible.
  4. One entry per person is on by default so repeat commenters get one chance. Turn it off to let every eligible comment count separately.
  5. Choose how many winners to draw, up to the number of eligible entries.
  6. Select Draw. Winners are chosen with an unbiased random draw. Select Draw again (now labeled Re-roll) for a new result.
Your own comments on the post, as the connected account, are never eligible.

Share the result

  • Copy puts the winners’ usernames on your clipboard.
  • Download or share renders an image with the winner list, using your device’s share sheet where available. Only the first 8 winners are shown individually; additional winners are summarized as “+N more.” Winner profile photos appear only when Replier can look up every winner shown; if any lookup fails, the image shows no photos rather than a partly filled set.
The tool does not enter, message, or notify winners on your behalf. Contact winners yourself, for example by replying to their comment or sending them a DM.

Reconnect

An Instagram connection made without signing in to Replier is stored in your browser and lasts up to 55 days, or less if Instagram’s own authorization ends sooner. If it expires or you switch browsers or devices, reconnect the account to load posts again. This does not affect any Replier automations running on the same account.
