Start with the status shown in Replier. It usually identifies whether the problem is the channel connection, automation setup, message delivery, or plan access.

A channel will not connect

  1. Confirm you signed in to the Meta account that manages the Instagram account or Facebook Page.
  2. Grant the permissions shown in the Meta flow.
  3. Check whether the channel is already connected to another Replier workspace.
  4. Start the connection again if Replier says the sign-in link was already used.
  5. If the account cannot connect because of app availability or review status, email support with the exact message shown.

Comment listening is not active

Wait a moment and refresh Channels. Replier is still subscribing to comment events.
Select Retry comment listening. If it fails again, reconnect the channel and complete Meta authorization.
The authorization is no longer valid. Select Reconnect and finish the Meta flow.
Do not rely on active automations until the status returns to connected. Retry setup or reconnect.

A comment did not trigger the automation

Check each item:
  • The automation says Listening, not Paused
  • The post appears in the automation’s targets
  • A future-post target was active before the post was published
  • The channel says comment listening is connected
  • The comment contains at least one saved keyword, ignoring capitalization
  • The keyword is spelled as saved; matching uses the full saved word or phrase as a contained string
  • If the trigger is Any comment, the comment was not made by the connected account itself
  • The workspace still has paid access or unused Free Plan auto-DMs
  • Another automation is not already assigned to that specific post
Use Reply to recent matching comments after activation or resume if the comment arrived within the previous 7 days.

The public reply or DM failed

Open the automation’s Recent activity and inspect the status. A public reply can succeed while a DM fails, or the reverse. Meta controls whether a message may be sent to a particular person. Permissions, account eligibility, platform limits, removed comments, and temporary API errors can affect delivery. Reconnect the channel if its authorization needs attention, then test again from another account.

Clicks are not showing

Click tracking applies to buttons Replier created in the DM. Confirm that:
  • The DM was sent by the current automation
  • You opened the button from the received DM
  • You are viewing the correct automation and workspace
  • The destination URL begins with https://
Activity can take a moment to update. Refresh the automation before testing repeatedly; repeat opens increase total clicks but not the number of unique clickers.

The automation stopped sending

Open Plan and usage. On the Free Plan, sending stops after 100 auto-DMs in the current period. A failed paid-plan renewal can also place the workspace in a one-day grace period and then move it to Free. Update the payment method, wait for the Free Plan renewal date, or choose a paid plan. Replier can resume eligible queued comment work after an upgrade.
